Specs and the tech pack

Open Genpire in another tab and tick each step as you go.

1. 01Open SpecsPress Continue to Specs. The outputs are listed on the right, such as Basic Product Specs, Flat Sketches, Detailed Specs, Assembly View and Labels & Tags. The list can differ from product to product (some show Print Files instead of Assembly View). Some outputs need another one first: for example, Flat Sketches requires Basic Product Specs.
2. 02Go to Hand offPress Continue to Hand off. The sections are listed on the right: Overview, Measurements, Bill of materials, Detailed Sketches, Prints, Colorways, Construction & Finish, Artwork & labels, Packaging, QC & Testing, Order notes, Costing, Attachments and Revision Log & Approvals.
3. 03Fill the empty sectionsIf sections are still empty, the Before you continue dialog offers Complete all sections with AI, which fills them for you. You can also fill one section with Generate With AI.
4. 04Review, comment and check historyEdit the fields in each section. Comments opens a discussion on the product, and History shows the activity on it.
5. 05Download or shareDownloads offers a Sample Techpack, a Production Techpack, Excel, Numbers (Mac), CSV, JSON and Product Files. Share gives you a link to the product. Right now, people outside your account only see 'This product is private' until the product is public, so send your factory the downloaded Production Techpack.
